The asana connector reads how a team plans and finishes its work in Asana: tasks and their projects, and everything that happened to each task in order.

Credentials
In Asana, open My settings → Apps → Developer apps → Create new token. The token reads what its user can see, so use an account that is a member of the projects you want to send.
Or skip the tokens: click Connect next to Asana in the portal (Settings → Connected systems), then run datayield connect asana --broker.
Connect
datayield connect asana -o accessToken=env:ASANA_TOKENOptions
| Option | Required | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
accessToken |
yes | The personal access token. Stored as a secret. |
includeArchived |
no | Also read archived projects. Default false. |
startDate |
no | Where the first run starts |
objects |
no | Record types to pull |
New records on each run
Tasks are read with Asana's modified_since filter, so only tasks changed since the last successful run are sent. Their stories are read one task at a time and kept when they happened inside the window. Workspaces, projects and users are sent whole each run.
