These terms cover your use of datayield.ai, the seller and buyer portals, the API and the Datayield SDK. By using them, you agree to these terms. Questions go to hello@datayield.ai.
Signed agreements come first
Selling or buying data happens only under a signed agreement: an NDA, a seller agreement or a buyer licence. If one of those conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement wins.
Business use
Datayield is for businesses. If you use it for a company, you confirm you're allowed to act for that company.
Estimates aren't offers
The estimate on our site is a rough range based on public deal data and your answers. It isn't an offer, a valuation or a promise that your data will sell, or sell for that amount. Real prices come from buyers.
Your account
Keep your sign-in links and API keys private, and tell us at once if you think someone else has them. You're responsible for what's done with your account and keys. Revoke a key in Settings when a person or computer no longer needs it.
Data you send us
Send only data you have the right to share. That means checking your contracts with your own customers, which we'll help you do before anything is sold. Don't send data you aren't allowed to share, and don't remove or change the scrubbing the SDK applies.
Things you can't do
- Try to get around security, rate limits or access controls.
- Scrape the site or portals, or overload them.
- Use the catalog or samples to identify a seller or any person.
- Copy, resell or reverse engineer the SDK, except as its licence or the law allows.
The SDK
The SDK is licensed, not sold, under the licence that comes with it. It's ours, and you may use it only to send data to Datayield.
Ending use
You can stop using Datayield at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Signed agreements end under their own terms.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Datayield running and accurate, but we provide the site, portals, API and SDK as they are, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site, portals, API or SDK. This doesn't limit anything the law doesn't let us limit, and it doesn't change what a signed agreement says.
Changes
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll tell account holders by email before it applies.
